This is my first review, i came here researching truck rental companies AFTER i had reserved with U-HAUL. I have just cancelled my reservation with them and if their customer service is anything to go by i am glad i decided to go elsewhere, it took 25 minutes just to get through to someone to cancel my reservation. They asked why i cancelled, and i told them that i had read the reviews about them and checked with friends and had got a lot of negative feedback, she asked what price i was going to pay to rent a truck and i told her that it is more than the price uhaul are offering but i would rather pay more and get more. She seemed not to care and kept me on the phone for a further 5 minutes while she typed away then told me ‘okay, cancelled’. No thank you, have a nice day or anything!

I am going with Penske, they receive great reviews and i contacted a local one with some questions i had and they were great. Its a little more expensive but they are offering unlimited miles, a day extra rental and they say the truck comes filled with gas, so for $60 extra they got my business, i intend to write a review when i have used them but from the reviews i have read they sound good.
