So I made a reservation about 2 weeks in advance on-line for a one-way trip. I received my confirmation call the night before and I confirmed again in the morning before I left. I arrived at the location (with some hired help) and, to my surprise, the location was closed. So, I call U-haul and they send me to another location (with some attitude on the phone). I travel to the new location and, although they were open there was no truck. I call U-haul back and they tell me that I would have to travel an hour out of my way to pick up a truck. Now, I had hired people for up to four hours which, at this point, is half gone. Traveling to the new location would have taken up all of the time I had the movers for so I was unable to do my move. When I spoke with them that day, and when I called the following day to lodge a complaint, I was given a lot of attitude on the phone, like I was the one who had messed up. I was given no compensation for my time and was basically told that it wasn’t their problem that I had to pay my movers for their time. I will never use this company again.

U are better off to carry your stuff. U Haul I have moved 2 times in the past 5 years and for different reasons,I have unfortunately had the experience of moving both times with U-Haul....
