In the past four years I have moved twice. I used U-Haul for both moves even though I swore I would never use them again after the first one. My fiance’ convinced me to use them again for the second move since their quoted rate was the cheapest. Their employees are rude (when you can finally get one to help you) and slow! After the first move I wanted to drop the truck off before they closed. I got their 15 minutes before they closed and went inside to turn in the truck. The man behind the counter was counting the register and as I walked in began screaming “no, no, no, no-way!” I said “no what?” He said “we are closed, I am not taking that truck!” Even though they were still supposed to be open for another 15 minutes he would not take the truck. Even after a long arguement. I ended up having to take the truck all the way back home and bring it back the next morning. On my second move, I got there when they first opened and stood in line for 30 minutes even though there were only two people in line. Then they did not have the appliance dolly I had requested with the truck! When I returned the truck, the guy then tried to charge me for the appliance dolly I never got! Unbelieveable. Use another company for your move, even if they charge a little more.
