I recently rented a 26′ truck from you in order to move from Blacksburg, VA to Silver Spring, MD. When I picked the truck up I was told that when I wanted to deliver I could call a number to tell me where to deliver it. I finished my move around 7:30pm and when I called that number I got a voice mail that the office was closed. I was surprised because I was never told and it was never noted on the paper/receipt I was given that I had to call before a certain time.
Regardless, I had to drop off the truck somewhere because I had to travel back to Blacksburg, VA the same night and I had no place to leave the truck overnight. When I called the U-haul company number I was asked to call the regional office number (which was closed). When I told the lady that the regional office was closed she told me that they could not tell me the address of a drop off location but if I was to find by myself a drop off location I could leave it there. As you may understand this is very bad service. I ended up driving around to different U-haul locations in a new city with a 26′ truck to find a U-haul drop-off location. It took me 2.30 hours of driving to find a location that I could drop it off.
