I have a car and enough stuff to fill a small Uhaul. Is it smart to caravan the car and Uhaul? Should two people drive the Uhaul switch straight through until its there? (then fly back for the car?)

The cheapest thing to do is to tow the car behind the uhaul, it will cost less in fuel to pull the car with the uhaul than to buy fuel for both. I would plan for 500mi/ day, and go to the hotel on the money you are saving from not buying fuel for the car. Stop twice a day for meals, and once every couple of hours or so, for a potty break. The reason that people go insane on these trips is because they get tired, and tired of the trip. Take it a little easier, it won’t cost much more, and the trip will be alot easier.
