Do it yourself U Haul

When we were moving, we decided that we had accumulated way too much stuff to just use our car and my brother-in-law’s truck to move it all.

So we compared the prices of Ryder and Uhaul and decided that Uhaul had the better deal.

Uhaul has 3 different sizes of trucks that you can rent. The smallest rents for $19.95, the middle size truck goes for $29.95 and the bigger truck rents for $39.95. There are a number of things that you can rent along with the truck, including blankets to wrap items in, tow hitches, and dollies. And of course, you also have to pay for mileage.

We found the the staff to be kind, friendly and very helpful. All of them had smiles for us.

We also liked the ramp on the Uhaul, it is set low and makes it a lot easier to load and unload.

The only real problem we had was going around tight corners with the large truck. Because of its size, it doesnt turn very well. Luckily we didnt have very many of those.

All in all, we had a very good experience with Uhaul. If/when we move again, we will most likely go back to Uhaul.
