I rented two trucks and two auto trailers. I was traveling 500 miles,and spent over $2000 with this so called company that wants customer satisfaction. The 14ft truck broke down in the middle of the street less than 100miles from the starting point. 2 hours we were back on the road after a broken ignition module was fixed. Two hours after. Alternator went out on the 24ft truck. The truck died at 55mph on the freeway. Three hours later I was following a tow truck going to the nearest hotel because it was too late to fix my truck.. We laid over and had to wait until their convenience to fix it.
Throughout the days we were talking with customer service who was screwing us around and pawning us off onto other people.. Nobody wanted to help us or even talk with us..I was hung up on many times.
The mechanic told us the truck should have never been driven off the lot, much less 500 miles away…He noticed a radiator leak, and said drive it, it will eventually blow up. The complaints go on and on,. He was going to file a complaint about the service of the truck eight days earlier in Fresno.
Once we finally made it to our destination we called a manager and had to fight with them to reimburse us for the hotel that they put us up in…
Worst of all, the only compensation they offered was $100 to uhaul.. They can take that because I will never use uhaul again, nor will my friends, family, or anyone I ever talk to for the rest of my living life,,and then some.
If you must work with Uhaul I apologize…be ware especially of truck DC 8445A AA86161 AZ
and GH 0688J AA57020 AZ. If you talk with the regional manager of Southern California do not expect Mark to help you at all…he will offer $100 uhaul dollars.
