Just like thieves!! U Haul

I will never ever use U-haul again…It has been over a year and I am still bitter about our experience…here is how it all started….

We had to move maybe 5 miles to our new house, we had a lot of furniture, so we decided to rent a u-haul and save some money. Lucky us, there was a truck available in our town for us to use. We would only be using it for a few hours, but had to rent it for the day. That is fine with me.

I cannot remember what size truck we got, but it was the one that is 19.95 a day. Sounds good to me. So I had to leave an $80.00 deposit for any damage. No problem…

I had to walk around the truck marking everything wrong with it that I could find…hard task considering it was pretty damaged

We used the truck and returned it the next morning. No accidents, no bumps or bruises on the truck, nothing to report…Then they tell us they can not return the 80.00 deposit they found a dent on the hood…very little, only visible from the drivers seat if you are REALLY looking!! I was infuriated!! They probably ripped off the people who used it before us using that same little dent! I tried to get my deposit back…talked to manager after manager and no luck! I do NOT recomment U-Haul to ANYONE!!!
