Never Using U Haul Again U Haul

I had a terrible experience with U-Haul. Even though I reserved a 14-foot truck over a month in advance, there were no 14-foot trucks available on the day of my move. At first U-Haul claimed they did not even have my reservation, despite the fact that someone had called me the previous day to confirm my reservation and pick-up time. When they “found” the truck I had reserved, they said that it was in a town 30 miles away. When I arrived, there was no truck there either, and they didn’t have my reservation, or any record that anyone had contacted them regarding my coming for a truck. After being bounced around the entire Northern Virginia area (and dealing with numerous rude customer service representatives), I was given a 10-foot truck. I had to make two trips between my old and new apartments and was forced to pay the extra gas and mileage fees. What should have been an easy, 5-hour-or-less move ended up taking from 3pm until well after midnight, not to mention the time I spent tracking down a truck (7am to 3pm) after being told the day before that my reservation had been confirmed and they had the requested truck available! I will never use U-Haul again, and I am currently seeking compensation for the extra money I had to pay for gas %26 mileage.
