I too also had a bad experiance with uhaul, we called in advance to see if they had any of the big moving vans,they said yes and they were 19.95 a day, well we only needed it for one day because we were moving across town. We put down our 150.00 deposit like we were told to do and went on our way with hand trucks in back of vehicle. We got our moving completed and proceeded to return the truck the next morning when we got there to get a refund,we were in for a for a big surprise, when we went to get our deposit back they handed us around 30.00 or so maybe a little less,now for one day’s rental noway–I asked where the money went and they said they charged us 29.95 for the van then the handtrucks,mileage for the vehicle and gas,No one told us this up front what a ripoff in my book uhaul bite.
