I made my reservation online, my reservation was promptly confirmed by e-mail and at the website, and I was supposed to be called the next day regarding location and time to pickup the truck. I got no call, and then found that my reservation was apparently not in the system. I had “confirmed reservation”, accessible on the website, but they claimed it wasn’t in their system and they had no idea what happened. To add insult to injury, every single person with whom I spoke about my situation was rude, had attitude, had no sympathy whatsoever, and no interest in determining what went wrong or assisting me with making another reservation with them (AS IF I would, anyway). I went with Enterprise, reserved with a man who actually talked to me like a human being, and — get this — I saved nearly $150 over what U-Haul would have charged me.
