I have rented three times from Kirkland Uhaul, making a reservation with the Uhaul 800 number. Two of the three reservations were never found at Uhaul Kirkland. On the third when they did find the reservation they did not have the equipment needed and was forced to use a smaller trailer. Uhaul Kirkland says this happens “All the time”
On my most recent rental the staff could not work the billing system and I was double billed. They did not know how to hook up the trailer and the I was required to reconnect the trailer myself since the safety chains were improperly connected.
I returned and the staff person was talking on his personal cell phone. When I started to enter the building to checkin the trailer I was yelled at by the staff to move the trailer to the back. I told them that I needed to checkin first, I was then told “fxxx off”.
A minute later, a staff member in the garage came out a started yelling, cussing, and screaming at me, thinking I was the person who cussed, he was mistaken. When I told him that it was his staff that told me to F off he backed off.
The next day I tried to contact the owner Ken on three different times to mention this problem and never got a call back.
