Just had a terrible experience with UHaul. My “confirmed” reservation also turned out to be a sham. I could choose from a truck located 2 hours away from my home, or no truck at all. Luckily Budget Truck Rental saved me; they had an even larger truck available for virtually the same price at a location 5 miles away… one day in advance! Evidently both Budget and Penske will guarantee you a truck at a particular location at a particular time. UHaul will NOT! UHaul has a great brand name so I expected good service, unfortunately they don’t even come close to living up to expectations. Steer clear of UHaul!
