U Haul disappoints yet again! U Haul
U Haul at your own risk… U Haul Ever wonder how certain companies can continue to stay in business when they provide such deplorable products and service? Well, it's a dire...
I made my reservation on line two weeks prior to the move and foolishly thought that u-haul would come through. HA! The day before our move I waited by the phone for the call to tell me where I could pick up the trailer. Five o’clock came and went and finally I called them. I was told that they were behind and I would be contacted soon. At seven I called again. The agent sighed and looked up my info. So we were all set for nine the next day. HA! We went to pick up the trailer and low and behold there wasn’t one. This is the second time this has happened to me. So I called the local area office and it was closed. I called 1-800-gouhaul and they all but called me stupid. They insisted that the local office was open seven days a week to deal with any problems and when they forwarded my call it went to another part of the country, because our office was closed! I explained my situation again and they found a trailer in a different town. This time we called the dealer to confirm. The part that disturbs me the most is that no one at u-haul ever seemed surprised at the situation I was in. This is how they operate on a day to day basis. How many good u-haul stories have you heard compared to the bad? Never again!
