I was very disappointed in this company overall when the clerk behind the desk told me that the only trucks they had available at that time were manual, and I wouldn’t be able to drive them because I was female. I wrote a letter of complaint to U-Haul headquarters, but never received a response. At least there are other companies out there now to choose from. Besides an all out boycott, if you decide to go with this company use caution with the pricing. The advertisements might read one price for a move, but after all the extra fees are tacked on you may end up paying four times as much.
