Unfortunately, I did not do enough research prior to our move, so I rented from U-haul. I ordered one size truck by internet, but it was not available when I went to pick up the truck. This stuck me with a truck that was too big for my needs.

After a few miles, I noticed how loud the engine was, and how poor the acceleration. Gas mileage was about 5 mpg, with a very light load, instead of the teens as stated on the internet site. When caught in a rainstorm, found the wipers did not work.

When I went to check the truck in, the office was going to rent it out again to another customer, even though I told them it needed repair.

I have challenged the credit card charge, but so far U-haul has only offered to credit me $15.

Lousy customer service
