I made reservations online for a 14′ truck rental.
I received confirmation of my reservation and it stated that they would call me by 5PM the day before my pick up date to tell me when and where I could pick it up.
I have my stuff in PODS storage and I need to tell them NOW when to have my POD set out tomorrow so I can load up the U-Haul.
I never received my call by 5PM. I called a local U-Haul and they gave me a number to call. I got no answer.
I called backed the local U-Haul and they gave me another number to call and ask for Mike. I got no answer.
Just what am I supposed to do now? I’m supposed to be moving in the morning and I have no truck to do it with.
I will never use U-Haul again and I will personally go out of my way to let everyone I know that this was the lousiest service I have ever encountered.
If they try to charge me with the $50.00 cancellation fee, I will have my lawyer sue them for undue duress, breach of contract, mental anguish and any other things my lawyer can think of.
To U-Haul I say…Good riddance. What a joke this company is.
