I reserved a truck with them and already paid $5 for this online. On the moving day, I did not receive any call from Uhaul and had no truck with me. I called to ask for that and the rep told me to wait until the next day without any compensation. i waited until thte next day and a rep called me telling the location to pickup the truck. I went there but no truck was there!! The local office never got my reservation! I called Uhaul again and was put on hold (as usual) for 13 mins before a rep answered my call saying that I had to wait for another day and must pickup the truck from other city!! Also I could not get my $5 back!!
I decided not to use uhaul and called other rental truck company instead. I paid for that 3 times more expensive than Uhaul but I got the truck right then. The whole thing that Uhaul did to me is considered cheating. This company does not guarantee anything and charge you without knowing if they can provide you the service or not. I have been trying to get my reservation fee back but still could not get it until now. I have called the regional office and all possible departments and still could not get anything, not even an apology!!
Use other company, don’t even think of Uhaul for whatever service!! Trust me!!
